Only time can understand

Once upon a time, there was an island on which lived Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all the rest of it including Love. One day word got around that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left, except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love decided to ask for help. Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,'Richness, can you take me with you ?'Richness answered,'No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. there is no place here for you.'

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful ship.'Vanity, please helo me !'

'I can't help you. Love. You are all wet and might danage my boat.' Vanity answered.

sadness was close by so Love asked, 'Sadness, let me go with you.'

'Oh, love, I'm so sad that I need to be by myself.'

Happiness passed by Love, too. but she was so happy that she didn't even hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice. 'Come, Love, I will take you .' It wasa elder. Love even forgot to ask him where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way.

Realizingh how mudch was puzzled to the elder, Love asked Knowledge, another elder, 'Who helped me ?'

'It was TIME.' knowledge answered.

'Time?'asked Love. 'But why did Time help me ?'

Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered,'Becase only Time can understand hou valuable Love is.'

从前在一个岛上住着快乐、悲伤、知识等人其中也包括爱。但有一天这个岛要沉了，所有的人都在建造船，只有爱一个人不建造。

只有爱一个人呆在岛上，他决定寻求帮助，这是富有正驾着一艘豪华的船经过这里。爱说：“富有你能带我走吗？”“不能，我的船上都是金银财宝，没有你的地方了！”富有说。

爱决定像驾驶着美丽船只的虚荣求助，他说：“虚荣你能带我走吗？”“不能，你都湿透了会弄湿我的船的！”虚荣说。

悲伤正向这边行驶，爱说：“悲伤你能带我走吗？”“不能，我需要带我自己走！”

快乐经过这里，他正快乐的走着，都没听见爱的呼声。

突然一个沧桑的声音说：“快上来，爱我带你走！”爱甚至都没为他要去那里，当他们到了一个干燥的岛上的时候，那个人就走了。

当爱想起来的时候，他问知识：“是谁帮了我。”

“是时间。”知识说。
